The following photographs represent a small selection from those taken on a five-day safari with Odyssey Safaris in Kakadu during August 1999. There were nine of us on the trip together with Ted and Kim from Odyssey who looked after us. We travelled in a Mitsubishi four-wheel-drive bus and stayed at permanent camp sites at Gunlom Falls and Mardugal. The tents were comfortable, big enough for standing and were equipped with wooden floors and camp beds.
 Egrets (right) are a familiar sight on the Yellow Water wetlands while the occasional eagle lords it from the tree tops. |
